Join us for World Space Week at Dublin Zoo as we welcome a stellar line-up of speakers, stargazers and celestial explorers, including Dr Niamh Shaw, space communicator, explorer and author of Dream Big, a book about her lifelong dream of getting into space. Niamh has lived on rationed water in a Mars simulation, tracked penguins across Antarctica and been sniffed out by a hungry polar bear in the Arctic. Now she's bringing her incredible stories to Space Week at Dublin Zoo. After we warm up with hot drinks and conservation chats, the Irish Astronomical Society will take us on an adventure around the galaxy through telescopes from the unique backdrop of Dublin Zoo.
